Sedona February

So OK it's May, this is Sedona in February? In February we only had a weekend and with in hours of being there we knew there wasn't enough time to do it all.

So I will continue to edit this post and work on Sedona April. I have some 600 photos to sort through.

A shot from downtown Sedona.

We took a 2 1/2 mile hike on a trail up a canyon just outside of Sedona, every turn in the trail had a different view that was as spectacular as the last, we just couldn't stop until we got to the end.

There was just one interesting formation after another.

Bear was good with the end of the trail.

Moving on we followed our self guided GPS tourer to some ruins.

OK, I have to explain the suit, it was Valentine's Day and Eileen wanted to dress for our ride on the Verde Canyon Train.

We weren't this formal for our wedding.

As the Train leaves Clarksdale.

A View up Verde Canyon.
Eagle Rock not only looks like an Eagle, there are Eagles in the the area. There are to Coachmen for every car and there job is to point out all the sights and flora and fauna of the canyon. They do a great job.

When surrounded by the assume beauty of nature one must stop and contemplate.
