Clear Lake, largest freshwater lake by
surface area entirely in
California, 19 miles by 8 miles, average
depth is 27 feet.

The lake is fed by a number of small
streams as well as springs in Soda Bay. Cache Creek is the only
outlet.
The shores of the lake are lined by small towns, private residences, farms, vineyards, and a number of resorts such as Edgewater Resort were we workamped for the summer of 2011.
